Job Title: Electrical Technician - Asset Condition Monitoring Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team as an Asset Condition Monitoring Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for applying MV/HV asset condition monitoring techniques to ensure safer and more reliable networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply MV/HV asset condition monitoring techniques to ensure safer and more reliable networks.
  • Gain authorisation for High Voltage (HV) testing, including cable mapping, Vacuum Interrupter testing, and transformer testing.
  • Perform service work in Asset Diagnostics, such as condition assessments, partial discharge surveys, and data analysis/report writing.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve asset condition data analysis methods.
  • Provide general support across the team and the business.

Requirements:

  • Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • Electrical background essential (time-served Electrician).
  • Knowledge of MV/HV electricity distribution and HV testing experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Travel Requirements:

Split your time between office and offsite work, with flexible working options. Travel to various UK client sites 2 to 3 days a week when required (expenses covered including overnight stays). Occasionally travel overseas/offshore (additional allowances may apply).
