We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Financial Capability Coach to join our team at Burmantofts Community Projects. About the Role

The Financial Capability Coach will work closely with clients to identify potential welfare benefits entitlement and provide tailored support to help them maximise their income. This includes assisting with applications for benefits, providing guidance on budgeting and financial planning, and connecting clients with relevant local services.

Main Responsibilities

  • To conduct comprehensive financial assessments with clients to identify areas for improvement and develop a plan to address these needs.
  • To provide ongoing support and guidance to clients as they navigate the process of claiming benefits and improving their financial capability.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth delivery of the service and maintain high-quality standards.
  • To contribute to the development of new projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the financial well-being of clients.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of financial capabilities and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience working in a similar role or in a related field, such as social work or community outreach.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
