Role Overview:
As an Academic Support Specialist, you will work closely with teachers to support students' academic progress. You will assist in the delivery of lessons, provide one-on-one support for students with additional needs, and help maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

**Responsibilities:**
  • Assist teachers in lesson delivery and student learning
  • Provide individualized support for students requiring extra help
  • Support students with varying abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Maintain classroom discipline and assist with behavior management
  • Collaborate with teachers to track student progress
  • Contribute to learning resource creation and administrative tasks


Requirements:
A recent university graduate, preferably in a subject related to the curriculum
A passion for education and helping students reach their potential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to build rapport with students and staff
A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one required.

Salary: £80 - 105 per annum, dependent on experience.
