About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Support Worker to join our team in the Aseptic Services Unit. As a Pharmacy Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient preparation of high-quality Cytotoxic, Parenteral Nutrition, and CIVA products.

Main Responsibilities

Aseptically prepare high-quality Cytotoxic, Parenteral Nutrition, and CIVA products in accordance with departmental procedures, Good Manufacturing Practice, and COSHH regulations.

Prepare specific products under licensing regulations without direct supervision.

Undertake daily cleaning and disinfection of the aseptic clean rooms, including Isolators and Laminar Flow Cabinets, according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Ensure ingredients and disposables are assembled, disinfected, and transferred through the Aseptic Services Unit appropriately.

Carry out pre- and in-process checks of aseptically prepared products upon completion of appropriate training.

Accurately label and package aseptically prepared products into final distribution containers, including protective bags.

Assist with the preparation of documentation within the aseptic unit and assist with the recording of data, both manually and on the computer.
