Senior Support Worker – Leader in Mental Health Care

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual with leadership qualities to support people to achieve greater independence. With a focus on trauma-informed care, recovery, and person-centred practices, you will work intensely with women to achieve move on using a bespoke support planning approach. The role involves providing practical assistance with daily living, support, and delivery/access to a wide range of activities that promote personal wellbeing. You will also be responsible for day-to-day oversight of rotas and staffing needs as they arise and excellent communication with line management/senior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting women to achieve greater independence using trauma-informed care, recovery, and person-centred practices
  • Providing practical assistance with daily living, support, and delivery/access to a wide range of activities that promote personal wellbeing
  • Day-to-day oversight of rotas and staffing needs as they arise
  • Excellent communication with line management/senior colleagues

Requirements:

  • Motivated and enthusiastic individual with leadership qualities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations
  • Experience of supervising staff is desirable
