Senior Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team in Northenden, supporting adult females with severe and enduring mental health diagnoses. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing high-quality support and care to our service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide practical assistance with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household management.
- Support and deliver a wide range of activities that promote personal wellbeing, including gardening and music.
- Work collaboratively with service users to develop and implement individualised support plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of working in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on supporting adults with severe and enduring mental health diagnoses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and external agencies.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, as part of a rolling rota.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care, and a willingness to work towards further qualifications.
