Make a Difference in the Lives of Young People

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Worker to join our team at Family Care Group. As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will be responsible for supporting young people with their daily needs, promoting their independence, and facilitating their personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support young people with personal care needs and daily routines.
  • Encourage and facilitate independence in young people, promoting their life skills.
  • Assist young people in attending school, appointments, and recreational activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of young people's progress and care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Residential Childcare or a related field.
  • Ability to work on a shift/rota basis and participate in sleep-in duties.
  • Valid full driving license and ability to transport young people.
  • Level 3 qualification in Children's and Young People's Workforce (desirable).
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and comprehensive references.
