Job Title: Meeting and Events Logistics Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Meeting and Events Logistics Manager to join our Food & Beverage Department at Raffles London at The OWO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations from a logistical perspective, ensuring all clients' expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for clients and contractors, responding to queries and liaising with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure all employees have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
- Provide feedback to the Event Operations Manager and Director of Events on junior team members and agency staff, ensuring performance is measured and improved where necessary.
- Assist with additional responsibilities in the absence of a line manager or senior employee.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned, including working in a different department or restaurant.
Requirements:
- A proven track record of providing high levels of service under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken.
- An understanding and willingness to contribute to a 24-hour operational schedule when required.
- The ability to assist in creating and managing a department with a positive culture, resulting in guest satisfaction and high team member retention.
- At least two years' experience working in a similar role in a five-star property.
