About the Role

We are seeking a skilled General Practitioner to join our clinical team at our practice in Chorley. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified GP to develop their skills and experience in a busy primary care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
  • Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation.
  • Assessing the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
Job Requirements
  • Newly qualified GP (less than 2 years of certificate).
  • General understanding of the primary care contract.
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council.
  • Membership of a recognised medical defence organisation.
  • Registration on the Primary Medical Service Performers List.
What We Offer
  • Sessional rate of £10,500.
  • Medical Indemnity costs covered.
  • 6 sessions per week (days to be agreed).
  • 30 days annual leave + bank holidays + 37.5 hours study leave (Pro rata).
  • BMA model contract.
