Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has opened for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner in Chorley, Lancashire. This is the ideal opportunity for someone that is looking to join a friendly and long established practice in Chorley with up to full time hours available.

The practice is very well organised with an extensive managerial and secretarial structure in place to ensure that your clinics are efficient and focused on patient care. The practice has a stable and very cohesive team of GPs, ANPs and Practices Nurses so you'll enjoy working alongside an established and very effective team.

Key Duties:

  • You will be running minor illness/injury clinics and assisting in the assessment of elderly patients in their homes.
  • Minor illness clinic
  • Autonomous and team working
  • Home visits
  • Elderly patient assessments

Package and Benefits:

  • There is an excellent package on offer in return for your commitment to the practice:
  • Circa £55,000 - £58,000
  • 30 days holiday/6 weeks, plus Bank Holidays too
  • NHS Pension enrolment

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will:
  • Have MSc in Advanced Practice and have experience in Primary Care
  • Be an Independent Prescriber
  • Be comfortable working autonomously, though responsible to the Lead Nurse
  • Be comfortable assisting in home visits
