At Scottish Water, we're committed to delivering exceptional service to the people of Scotland. As a Telemetry Systems Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our telemetry systems, which are critical to our water management and treatment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch technical support to our stakeholders, including the Intelligent Control Centre, Customer Service Delivery, Capital Delivery Partners, and users of our Corporate Telemetry Systems.
- Collaborate with our teams to improve our telemetry systems and customer service, leveraging your technical or operational background to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Configure and develop our corporate telemetry systems, ensuring they meet our ISO 9001 accreditation standards and are aligned with our business objectives.
- Assist in managing our telemetry-focused risk-based maintenance program, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain graphical schematics, ensuring our systems are well-documented and easily understood by our stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance to support enhancement projects, working closely with our teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- Strong technical skills, with experience in IT and system design.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of telemetry procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
