Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a school setting. You will work closely with teaching staff, SENCo, and other professionals to provide tailored support that enhances learning, development, and emotional well-being for students with ASD. Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 or small group support to children with ASD/Autism, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and ensure that the specific needs of each child are met.
- Assist with the social, emotional, and behavioural development of children, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students during transitions between activities and throughout the school day, ensuring consistency and promoting independence.
- Use a variety of teaching techniques, including visual aids, sensory activities, and structured routines to support children's learning and development.
