Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Facilitator to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Facilitator, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our staff and students in the perioperative environment.

Main Duties

• Work directly alongside staff to raise, monitor and evaluate standards of clinical practice using evidence-based frameworks.

• Establish and develop effective relationships with the theatre team to plan and facilitate changes and innovation in practice.

• Use coaching/mentoring-style techniques to support practitioners in clinical areas and facilitate the implementation of personal development plans, agreed programmes of change and project work within the service.

• Act as a role model and clinical expert to colleagues by guiding practice, assessing competence, and supporting the implementation of any policies to actively enhance learning in the knowledge and provision of perioperative care.
