Job Overview

The Clinical Educator will play a key role in providing high-quality education and training to the non-medical workforce, ensuring that staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent patient care.

As a Clinical Educator, you will be responsible for identifying and supporting the learning needs of your clinical area, creating a positive learning environment and acting as an expert resource for staff.

You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and senior colleagues to develop and deliver education programs, ensuring that training is grounded in good practice and aligned with organizational priorities.

Main Duties

• Act as a role model for best clinical practice and Trust values

• Work with learners to facilitate their independent learning

• Manage your time to ensure a balance between clinical education and administrative activities

• Promote and contribute to an inter-professional learning environment

• Deliver education programs at a divisional level and where required, cross-divisionally

• Work as part of the local and corporate practice development teams

• Assist in anticipating and addressing the educational needs of the service

• Work across boundaries to develop and sustain partnerships
