Consultant Psychiatrist Opportunity

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality mental health services to children and families.

Location: Hawke's Bay region

Service: Mental Health and Addiction, Ngá Harakeke mai Rongokako - Child, Adolescent and Family Service (CAFS)

Contract: Permanent - full-time and part-time roles available

About the Role:

The medical team consists of three Consultant Psychiatrists, a general practitioner, and a psychiatric registrar. Child, Adolescent and Family Service (CAFS) is the tertiary provider of mental health services to children and youth in the Hawke's Bay region.

You will be passionate about working with children and families who present with complexity, in a holistic and child-centered way. You will have a wide range of general psychiatric skills and hold, or be eligible for Vocational Registration as a Child Psychiatrist with Medical Council of New Zealand. You will be able to provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team, with a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
