Job Overview:
Welcome to the Environmental Regulatory Assistant role at Anglian Water. In this position, you will play a vital part in ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory standards. As a key member of our Quality Regulation and Enforcement Team, you will provide technical and administrative support to leadership, enabling effective Trade Effluent, Permitting, and Regulatory Reporting management.

About the Role:
This role is perfect for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in collaborative environments. You will maintain efficient systems and reporting for customers, environment, and regulations. Your contributions will be instrumental in supporting compliance with the Water Industry Act and managing customer service requirements. Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will coordinate meetings with Environment Agency, Ofwat, Defra, and Enforcement Panels. You will gather data for performance reporting and customer enquiries, support consenting process for regulatory requirements, and provide Trade Effluent public register information and manage database. Additionally, you will manage Trade Effluent mailbox and collaborate with TE Scientists, collate waste data for EA reporting, maintain exceptional customer service standards, record keeping and GDPR adherence, and team records management.

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have a basic understanding of EPR Regulations, WIA, UWWTR. Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft packages, emails, and outlook calendar are essential. Experience in customer and administration roles is also necessary. Good communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with customer service skills, organisational skills, meeting coordination, tight deadline management, and workload prioritisation.
