Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer - Electronics Project Lead

Location: Flexible remote working available

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £45,000 to £58,000 depending on experience

About Us: Mane Contract Services is a leading provider of engineering services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our Electronics projects.

Job Summary:

  • Lead the design and development of robust electronics solutions meeting customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic, control, and drive systems into equipment designs.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineering reports and design specifications.
  • Work closely with project managers and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative electronics solutions using 3D CAD software.
  • Lead classical engineering analysis on designs, including stress, fatigue, and vibration using conventional analysis and computer simulation.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineering reports and design specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic, control, and drive systems into equipment designs.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical understanding and leadership in project design.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD (ideally SolidWorks).
  • Knowledge of machining, casting, fabrication, and moulding.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Proficient in engineering calculations.
