BRAIN KIND is a leading provider of neurological rehabilitation services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and a passion for working with individuals with acquired brain injury.
The estimated salary for this role is £29,970 - £36,483 per annum, depending on experience.
About the RoleIn this exciting opportunity, you will have the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our service users. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and formulating treatment plans, implementing interventions, and evaluating progress.
Main Responsibilities:
- To provide specialist input to individuals with acquired brain injury, using skills and knowledge in neurological rehabilitation.
- To work collaboratively with other professionals to identify and address occupational performance and skill deficits.
- To implement evidence-based interventions and evaluate progress, ensuring that individuals achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
- To communicate effectively with individuals, families, and carers, using interpersonal skills to engage and support.
- To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring that they meet the needs of our service users.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
- Experience working with individuals with acquired brain injury.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
