Job Title: Intervention Practitioner

We are seeking a compassionate and resourceful professional to join our team as an Intervention Practitioner. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating a safe and supportive learning environment for children.

The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to identify and address areas of need, developing and implementing strategies that promote student well-being and achievement. This will involve delivering targeted interventions, providing group support, and contributing to the school's safeguarding procedures.

We are looking for an individual who is adaptable, responsive, and able to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. If you have a passion for working with children and young people, particularly those with SEMH needs, then we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored plans to meet the needs of each student
  • To deliver group and individual interventions that promote student well-being and social development
  • To contribute to the school's safeguarding procedures, ensuring the safety and welfare of all students
  • To work collaboratively with teachers, other support staff, and external agencies to ensure effective student support

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., education, psychology, social work)
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Thrive Approach or Trauma-Informed training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Salary: £27,802 - £31,740 per annum (dependent on experience)
