About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic nurse to join our expanding team and work within the Forensic Intensive Recovery and Support Team (FIRST). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex mental health needs, often with histories of offending and/or risk behaviors.

Main Duties
  • Work collaboratively with service users, carers, family, and friends to provide support and spend therapeutic time with an allocated group of service users.
  • Manage a complex caseload, including specialist assessment, care planning, and evaluation of individual treatment plans.
  • Participate in the setting of quality standards, including auditing, monitoring, and reviewing practice in line with current clinical guidance and policy.
  • Administer, handle, and manage medication, complying with relevant Trust procedures and NMC Guidance.
Person Specification
  • Registered mental health Nurse on NMC Register.
  • Post-registration experience, evidence of formal courses and training at diploma/degree level.
  • Registered Mentor.
  • Evidence of extensive post-registration experience with working with adults experiencing mental health-related difficulties.
