About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our Cannock, Rugeley & Great Haywood Integrated Mental Health Team based at Park House in Cannock.

As a Community Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing care needs, contributing to the formulation of care plans, and providing nursing interventions to support individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop care plans for individuals with mental health needs
  • Provide evidence-based psychological and medical interventions
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to coordinate care
  • Support individuals to meet their agreed goals and objectives

Person Specification

Essential

  • Registered and Qualified Mental Health Nurse on NMC Register

Desirable

  • Psychological intervention Qualification including EMDR, CBT, CBTp, Family Interventions, CAT, DBT

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working with people who have difficulty in engaging with services and have complex mental health needs
  • Experience of working with people experiencing mental health-related difficulties
  • Experience of assessing, planning, coordinating, and managing people with mental health problems in a community setting
