About the Role

As a Retail Team Lead with Outdoor and Cycle Concepts, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, leading a team of retail professionals, and driving sales growth in our stores. You will work closely with our Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers to achieve business objectives and develop your leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of retail professionals to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and improve customer engagement
  • Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and visual merchandising
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to achieve business objectives and develop store plans
  • Ensure a safe and compliant working environment by maintaining high standards of health and safety and adhering to company policies and procedures

What We Offer

As a Retail Team Lead with Outdoor and Cycle Concepts, you will receive a competitive salary, bonus scheme, and benefits package, including:

  • Base salary of £11.90 per hour (£9.65 for under 21's)
  • Bonus of up to £750 per annum (in proportion with hours worked)
  • 40-60% discount across our range of products
  • Up to 33 days holiday (in proportion with hours worked) with the option to purchase additional holiday

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and leading a high-performing team
  • Experience in a retail or customer-facing role, with a proven track record of sales growth and team leadership
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
