Independent Living Advocate
We are seeking an experienced Independent Living Advocate to join our team at ROC Solid. As an Independent Living Advocate, you will work closely with service users to empower them to take control of their lives and make informed decisions about their care and support. This may involve attending meetings with local authorities, social services, and other stakeholders to advocate on behalf of service users and ensure their voices are heard.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and external partners. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are also essential requirements for this position. While previous experience working in advocacy or a related field is preferred, it is not essential – we welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate transferable skills and a genuine passion for empowering others.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our service users. We offer a competitive salary of £23,998 per annum, plus mileage, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including an enhanced DBS check, healthcare plan, and opportunities for professional development.
