About the Role

We are seeking a highly effective leader to join our team as the Head of Inpatient Transformation. This is a key role within our organisation, responsible for leading the transformation of our inpatient services to improve the lives of people affected by mental illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement transformation plans to deliver key business priorities, including measurable objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with teams, colleagues, other organisations, service users, carers, and volunteers to achieve transformation goals.
  • Manage and deliver to deadlines and within resources, using complex modelling tools, financial, people, and operational processes to produce plans and reports.
  • Represent the Trust at key ICS meetings, feeding back to the Director of Transformation and Executive on decisions required.
  • Lead and co-ordinate the newly formed Inpatient transformation programme, including management of supporting project work streams, reporting, and performance measurement of identified priority programmes.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a Master's qualification or postgraduate qualification in a suitable subject, such as business management, and evidence of ongoing, relevant professional development. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a senior management role, in the NHS or other complex organisation, and have a proven track record of delivering transformation and business plans to deliver key objectives.

The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills, with the ability to use Excel, PowerPoint, Word, databases, and planning software, and will be able to work collaboratively and in partnership with teams, colleagues, other organisations, service users, carers, and volunteers.
