About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Transformation Lead to join our team at Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the transformation of our inpatient services, working closely with senior stakeholders across the NHS and other partner organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement transformation plans to deliver key business priorities, including measurable objectives and risk assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with senior leaders and colleagues to agree joint priorities and plans, including investments.
  • Develop and review robust transformation plans to deliver key business priorities, including measurable objectives.
  • Manage and deliver to deadlines and within resources, prioritising work programmes in the face of competing demands.
  • Work collaboratively and in partnership with teams, colleagues, other organisations, service users, carers, and volunteers.
  • Lead and deliver trust-wide workshops and events on transformation workstreams, engaging with executive, local teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that transformation governance structures and processes within the Trust are fit for purpose and support the delivery of transformation plan objectives.

Requirements

  • Masters Qualification or postgraduate qualification in a suitable subject in business management, such as an MBA or equivalent career experience.
  • Evidence of ongoing, relevant professional development.
  • Experience of working in a senior management role, in the NHS or other complex organisation.
  • Experience of working in partnership with multi-agencies to deliver key objectives and joint strategies/plans.
  • Experience of negotiating and persuading senior leaders and colleagues to work collaboratively to agree joint priorities and plans, including investments.
  • Experience of developing strategic transformation and business plans to deliver key objectives, that are measurable and risk assessed.
  • Excellent IT skills, with the ability to use Excel, PowerPoint, Word, databases, and planning software.
