Accounting & Financial Reporting Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting & Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to join our team at RSM. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial reporting and consolidations services to our corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities- Client Service: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional client service and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Financial Reporting: Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, providing financial reporting and consolidations services in accordance with UK financial reporting requirements.
- Assignment Planning: Plan and manage assignments in accordance with the firm's standard procedures, confirming arrangements with clients and ensuring that all necessary information is provided.
- Team Management: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Professional Development: Maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge through ongoing training and professional development, ensuring that you are up-to-date with the latest financial reporting requirements and industry developments.
- Operational Efficiency: Ensure that assignments are completed efficiently and effectively, in accordance with the firm's procedures and to the highest standards of quality.
- Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualification, with a strong understanding of UK financial reporting requirements.
- Experience: Proven experience of complex consolidations and financial reporting, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including proficiency in CCH AP, Microsoft Word and Excel, and Sage Line 50.
- Corporate Taxation: Working knowledge of corporate taxation, with the ability to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
