Role: Financial Reporting Accountant

This is a new role that is responsible for QA's financial reporting, you will be responsible for producing high quality financial reporting for both internal and external users. This role would suit a candidate who is a recently qualified accountant.
Key
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for internal and external reporting which includes: Board packs, Group management accounts, Reports to the lender group; and Shareholder reporting.
- Assisting with preparation of the Group annual report and subsidiary financial statements.
- To build strong relationships with senior stakeholders in the business to continue to develop reporting to ensure that it provides insight.
- The role includes assisting with technical areas of accounting, for example:
- Consolidation, share based payments; and acquisition accounting.
About you:- Attention to detail
- Advanced Excel & Powerpoint skills
- Strong commercial acumen combined with robust numerical and analytical skills
- Articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Robust technical knowledge of IFRS
- Preparing information for board level
- Worked in a fast-paced environment
- Worked within a business with a strong risk culture and/or experience implementing/assessing controls
- ACA (or equivalent) qualified
