Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting & Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to join our team at RSM. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial reporting and consolidations services to our corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional client service and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Financial Reporting: Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, providing financial reporting and consolidations services in accordance with UK financial reporting requirements.
  • Assignment Planning: Plan and manage assignments in accordance with the firm's standard procedures, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are confirmed with clients.
  • Team Management: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Professional Development: Maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge through ongoing reading and courses, and fulfill the professional bodies' CPD requirements.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure that assignments are undertaken efficiently and effectively, in accordance with the firm's procedures.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACA or ACCA fully qualified.
  • Experience: Strong understanding of UK financial reporting requirements and experience of complex consolidations.
  • Skills: Commercial awareness, ability to add value, strong oral and written communication skills, well-developed people management skills, excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Technical Skills: Good understanding of CCH AP, Microsoft Word & Excel and Sage Line 50.
Desirable
  • Working Knowledge: Working knowledge of Corporate Taxation.
