Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a designated portfolio of properties within assigned neighbourhoods
  • Carry out and monitor regular estate inspections, tenancy audits, and ensure accurate records are maintained
  • Act as a point of contact for residents, responding promptly to queries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Ensure the tenancy management objectives and key performance indicators are achieved
  • Deliver a strong financial performance by working collaboratively with the service charge team to ensure production of accurate and transparent service charge estimates and in-year block management
  • Build relationships and work with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with diverse tenants who require extra support and refer them to appropriate support services
  • Ensure IT systems are regularly updated, and effective manual record systems are maintained
  • Attend and represent the organisation at court, external meetings, case conferences, forums, and evictions

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle for work use
  • Experience of working with vulnerable people and community groups
  • Knowledge of housing law and housing management issues, welfare benefits, and financial inclusion
  • Experience of problem-solving for customers and understanding customer needs
  • Experience of delivering front-line (customer-facing) services
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C)
