The Role: Payroll Specialist - Part Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our People Operations team on a part-time basis (25 hours per week, flexible schedule). In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full payroll cycle, including calculating wages, deductions, and benefits.
  • Process employee data accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to HMRC (FPS and EPS).
  • Reconcile payroll records and address any discrepancies promptly.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless payroll integration.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll legislation and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience using payroll software systems.
  • In-depth understanding of UK payroll regulations and tax requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
