We are recruiting for a Fantastic primary school in Burton Upon Trent for a teaching assitant to start from September 2024 on a ful time basis until July 2025.

Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant

Location: Burton upon Trent

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Commencement: September Start

The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join starting in September. As an integral member of our support staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across EYFS and KS1 classes.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide classroom support to teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted academic and pastoral support.
  • Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to support the overall well-being of our school community.

Requirements

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position you will need:

  • Experience working with primary age children
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Have a DBS Certificate on the Update Service / Willing to obtain one

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a primary school setting
