Maintenance Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Administrator to join our team in Derry/Londonderry. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will provide technical and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general technical and administrative support to the maintenance department.
  • Ensure administration tasks are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure seamless communication.
  • Manage purchase orders and invoices to ensure efficient financial processes.
  • Input data into internal and external software systems.
  • Support the delivery of engineering projects and adhere to company procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and external contractors.
  • Deputise for the Maintenance Manager in meetings as required.
  • Take ownership of business processes and implement improvements.
  • Set up and maintain file structures and databases.
  • Input data into spreadsheets, databases, and other business systems.
  • Create and upload documentation, including configuration control duties.
  • Raise requests for quotations and purchase orders.

Essential Criteria:

  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or administration role.

GCSE English, Math, and English, or equivalent. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
