We are looking for a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at Building Careers UK. As a key member of our roofing and cladding department, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of projects from start to completion.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management, with a strong understanding of roofing and cladding systems, materials, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans to ensure timely completion and within budget
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution
  • Monitor project costs, track progress, and identify areas for cost savings
  • Prepare valuations, manage variations, and produce final accounts for projects
  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the roofing, cladding, or construction sector
  • Strong understanding of roofing and cladding systems, materials, and processes
  • Expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, contract management, and procurement
  • Proficient with industry-specific software and Microsoft Office

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience
