Claims Administration Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Claims Administration Specialist to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our Group Protection team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive claims administration for a defined account portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage and validate new Group Protection claims, ensuring all required data checks are completed and medical evidence is obtained as needed.
- Prepare and authorise payment of new and existing Group Protection claims on all products.
- Review claims in line with targeted dates and develop effective relationships with IFA's and Policyholders.
- Provide Management Information on portfolio accounts to analyse performance and identify key trends.
- Maintain a consistent, timely and accurate level of service, adhering to service level agreements and customer experience policies.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of core Group Protection products.
- Good knowledge of Legal & General's claims processes and procedures.
- Understanding of investigative and rehabilitation services provided by external organisations.
