About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a new Family Assessment Centre in Knowsley, Merseyside.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing organisation and make a significant impact on the lives of families in need.

The home will provide accommodation for families of varying sizes and needs, offering two two-bedroom flats and two studio-style flats.

As this is the first Family Assessment home, you will play a crucial role in building and developing the service from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of residential family support workers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and achieve and maintain a high Ofsted rating.
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, and other statutory agencies.
  • Develop and implement effective family-specific plans.
  • Generate high-quality observation reports and attend court proceedings as required.
About You

Ideally, you will have a Registered Social Work degree and registration with Social Work England.

A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management is also desirable.

You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience managing a family assessment.

Qualified or willing to work towards Parent Assess standard.
