Job Title: Science Teacher

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our dynamic team in a well-established secondary school in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Science lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4 (and potentially A-Level).
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated and supported.
  • Work closely with the department to share resources and best practices.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and intervention where necessary.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development.
Requirements
  • A relevant degree in Science or a related subject (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, etc.).
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be in the process of obtaining it.
  • An enthusiastic and innovative teacher who is passionate about Science.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student progress.
  • A team player, collaborating with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards.
