Salary Estimate: £31,500 - £42,600 per annum (£155 - £210 per day)
About the JobCERT Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave from January to July 2025 at our Autism Specialist School in Handsworth.
This role involves developing and delivering engaging lesson plans for students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), maintaining a safe and supportive classroom environment, and working closely with teaching assistants and families to provide comprehensive support.
Responsibilities- Design and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the unique needs of students with ASC.
- Establish a secure and stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes academic and social growth.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and families to ensure a holistic approach to supporting students.
- Monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary to address individual requirements.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred.
- Experience working with children with ASC or in an SEN setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, patient, and resilient attitude.
