About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Lead Psychiatrist to join our team at Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in psychiatry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in psychiatry, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with our research and innovation team to develop and implement new treatments and therapies.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior medical staff and other team members.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our trust's strategic plan.

Person Specification
  • Full GMC Registration
  • MBBS or equivalent
  • Additional higher medical/scientific qualification relevant to the specialty (desirable)
  • GMC Specialist Registration or commitment to obtain via CESR application (desirable)
  • S12 registered (desirable)
  • MRCPsych (desirable)
