About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to support General Practitioners in their day-to-day patient management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist GPs with administrative tasks, allowing them to focus on patient care and improving access and flow within the practice.
  • Organize and facilitate group consultations and clinics, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Identify patient needs and provide referrals to relevant services, enhancing patient outcomes.
  • Complete ECG and ECHO referrals, and book prerequisite investigations, streamlining patient processes.
  • Liaise with family members and hospital teams as needed, providing comprehensive support.
Requirements
  • GCSE Maths (4/C) or equivalent qualification.
  • Level 3 Admin/Customer Service qualification for effective communication.
  • Facilitation of group consultations training for successful collaboration.

  • Handle demanding situations with professionalism and composure.
  • Adopt a growth mindset and adaptable approach to meet changing demands.
  • Possess a self-motivated and positive attitude, driving team success.
Experience
  • Patient-facing service experience for empathetic understanding.
  • Working in General Practice for expert knowledge and application.
  • EMIS clinical system experience for efficient workflow management.
Compensation:

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, reflecting the value of your contributions.
