About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, promoting their equality, dignity, and mental well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan alongside the needs of service users, liaising with Clinical Pathway Leads as necessary.
  • Deliver group-based interventions and promote health and best practice, patient safety, and experience.
  • Contribute to assessing clients referred to Mental Health Together or Mental Health Together Plus.
  • Work with individuals to facilitate access and engagement in a range of leisure and other community-based activities.
  • Assist in delivering a high standard of support to service users and their carers.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in healthcare, preferably in mental health.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Care or Community Mental Health Care, with a commitment to undertake and gain a Level 3 qualification within an agreed time limit.
