Cancer Care Specialist

At LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare Ltd, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Oncology Nurse to join our team as a Cancer Care Specialist. About the RoleAs a Cancer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering individualized care to oncology patients, including administering chemotherapy, performing blood tests, and providing emotional support. You will work closely with patients and their families to understand their unique needs and preferences, ensuring that you provide tailored care that addresses their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, personalized care to oncology patients in their homes or at our mobile units or clinics
- Administer chemotherapy, perform blood tests, and provide other medical interventions as required
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
- Work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and care delivered
We offer a competitive salary of £43,700 per annum, plus up to £8,740 London living allowance (location dependent), making this a highly attractive opportunity for experienced nurses looking to make a difference in the lives of others. In addition to a generous compensation package, we also offer:

To succeed in this role, you will need to be an experienced nurse with a valid NMC PIN, holding either a formal Oncology qualification, SACT passport, or in-house Oncology training to administer SACT. You must also have a high level of care and empathy, combined with excellent organisational and IT skills. Extensive travelling is required between patients, so a full UK driving license is essential. Your working day includes travel to and from patients, so flexibility and adaptability are key.
