Support Worker for Deafblind Individuals

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Sense, a national disability charity supporting individuals who are deafblind or have complex disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will provide 1:1 support to children and adults with dual-sensory impairments, promoting personal and social development while encouraging independence.
The role involves enabling individuals to access activities based on their sensory needs, communication preferences, and interests. You will receive specialist training in supporting individuals with dual-sensory impairments and other disabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting individuals with day-to-day activities
- Enabling an independent lifestyle
- Accessing the community for shopping, social activities, or other trips
- Providing personal care and hygiene support
