We are looking for a Support Worker/Intervenor to join our team in North London, working across various locations such as Waltham Cross and Watford. The role involves providing one-to-one support to children and adults who have been born with sight and hearing impairments (congenital Deafblindness). The Intervenor promotes personal and social development while encouraging independence through enabling access to activities.
The ideal candidate will receive specialist training in how to support individuals with dual-sensory impairments, often combined with other disabilities. A full UK license with the use of a personal vehicle is essential for the role.
There may be an opportunity for permanent roles, based on the needs of the individuals we support. The following hours are currently available in North London: 4 hours per week in Waltham Cross, and 16 hours per week in Watford. The roles involve supporting children and adults with various needs, including day-to-day activities, enabling an independent lifestyle, and accessing activities based on their sensory needs and interests.
