Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel.

About the Role

This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working with children who have special educational needs, providing them with the support and care they require to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver individualized support plans for children with special needs, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that all children receive the best possible education and care.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to special educational needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of special educational needs legislation and policy.
