We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs at a secondary school in the Winchester area.


Job Overview

Key Responsibilities



  • Support students with special educational needs in a secondary school setting
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other teaching assistants to develop and implement effective learning strategies

Requirements


To be considered for this role, you will have:


Essential Skills and Qualifications:



  • Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents
  • A patient and understanding approach, with a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:



  • Qualifications in special educational needs, such as a degree in SEN or a related field
  • Experience working in a secondary school setting

Salary and Benefits


The salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a member of our team, you will also receive:
