Supporting Pupils with Special Educational Needs

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Support Assistant to join our team, providing essential support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a small, high needs secondary school.
About You:
- Experience working with students who have special educational needs (SEN), particularly in a secondary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with vulnerable pupils.
- A patient and understanding approach, with a commitment to providing individualized support.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve outstanding student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching staff in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that cater to each student's unique needs.
- Provide individualized support to pupils with diverse needs, adapting your approach to meet their emotional, social, and educational requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive support system is in place for students with diverse needs.
