Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities.
Estimated Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 per year (dependent on experience)
About the Position
- Support students with special educational needs and disabilities in a learning environment
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized plans for students
- Assist students with their daily tasks and provide emotional support when needed
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver tailored support programs for students with special educational needs
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
