Join Our Team as a Night Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Shift Supervisor to join our team at Biffa's Ford facility. As a key member of our Resources & Energy division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our waste management services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead the night shift production team to achieve company standards and health and safety requirements.
  • Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Monitor and review production teams to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to company policies.
  • Liaise with external and internal customers to provide excellent customer service and support.
  • Deputise for the Shift Leader in their absence, assuming responsibility for the site.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations and IOSH certification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO accreditations and requirements.
  • Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
  • Previous experience in the waste sector and management/supervisor experience of working with large teams in production/manufacturing environments.
