Supporting Independence with Active Care Group
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in the Worcester area. As a Support Worker for Independent Living, you will be responsible for providing personal care, moving and handling, domestic tasks, and social activities to our client with a spinal cord injury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support our client with daily living tasks, including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with moving and handling, ensuring the client's safety and comfort
- Perform domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Engage in social activities with the client, promoting their independence and well-being
Requirements:
- Kind and caring nature
- Flexibility and reliability, with a commitment to continuity of care
- Good communication skills
- Full UK driving license, as our client requires support with driving
- Enhanced DBS check
