We are seeking a highly driven and ambitious Area Sales Development Representative to join our team and help us achieve our goals.

Job Overview

The role involves managing your area to achieve sales targets through interactions with customers and product knowledge.

You will work closely with colleagues in the sales and branch team to contribute to sales plans, support company sales campaigns and initiatives to increase sales, and maintain existing customer relationships while developing new ones.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Manage your area to achieve sales targets through customer interactions and product knowledge.
  2. Work with colleagues in the sales and branch team to contribute to sales plans.
  3. Support company sales campaigns and initiatives to increase sales.
  4. Maintain existing customer relationships and develop new ones.
  5. Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales against targets.
  6. Maintain awareness of market trends in the industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring competitors.
  7. Identify sales opportunities and understand customer needs.

Requirements

  • Numeracy and literacy skills, educated to GCSE or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a builders merchant or similar environment.
  • Experience of product sales and/or working in a target-driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills.
  • IT skills.
  • Able to work on own initiative.
  • Full driving license.

Salary: £39,000 - £44,000 per annum.
